Here's something I hear from couples all the time, usually somewhere around the third venue tour or the second Pinterest board: "I know what I like when I see it. I just don't know how to explain it."

That's not a you problem. That's just how this works. Wedding planning asks you to make very specific decisions (like linen colors, centerpiece heights, arch styles) before you've had a chance to figure out the feeling you're going for. And when you don't know the feeling, every option looks equally right and equally wrong.

So before we ever talk about flowers or tablescapes or what to do with your venue's weird carpet, I want to know something more important: What do you want your wedding to feel like?

Why I Built This Quiz

As a wedding planner, silk florist, and décor vendor in the Hot Springs area, I work with couples across a huge range of budgets, styles, and situations. Some have a Pinterest board with 400 pins. Some have nothing but a date and a deposit.

What I've found is that the couples who are clearest on their vibe, even if they can't fully articulate it yet, end up with weddings that feel the most like them. And the ones who skip that step and jump straight to logistics? They often end up with something beautiful that somehow doesn't quite fit.

This quiz is my way of helping you find that clarity before we ever get on a call.

How It Works

It takes about 5–10 minutes. There are no wrong answers.

I'll ask you things like: if your wedding had a soundtrack, what would it be? How do you want guests to feel when they walk in? Do you want flowers everywhere, or just in the right places?

A few things I want you to know before you start:

Answer based on feel, not logistics. I know you might already have colors chosen. I know there might not be a vineyard within 50 miles. That's okay. Set all of that aside for now. If you had to choose between a moody candlelit barn and a garden bursting with flowers, which one makes your heart skip? That's what I'm after.

I won't ignore your real constraints. Budget is real. Venue limitations are real. Your chosen colors are real. This quiz isn't about pretending those things don't exist, it's about making sure we know what we're working toward before we figure out how to get there. I'm not going to hand you a proposal full of colors that clash with your palette. What I will do is use your answers to find the version of your dream wedding that actually works.
